TEHRAN -- On the opening day of the 4th Seminar of Iranian Cultural Attaches to Foreign States, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ahmad Masjed-Jamei said Iran is unrivaled in intermingling art and religion.
Pointing to the special status of culture in the international community, he added the superpowers of the world make use of the media and cultural means to exercise influence on other countries.
Some countries pay great attention to the cultural fields in their relations with the other states and try to dominate top cultural organizations such as UNESCO.
"There is no ancient civilization in the world Iran has had no relation. Iranian culture has affected all the nations throughout the history," he added.
In Iran, art and technology are created in the Islamic mold, added the minister.
